Leo and Virgo have seven clues, a challenging puzzle to solve. It could take 20 minutes or more, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be sure which is correct in the end. There are many ways to justify an event in Jyotish. After all, we’re working with six key factors, which give us ample ways to explain an event.

However, if our goal is to ensure that the ascendants in all six divisional charts are correct, it changes the ball game entirely. Then, by the time we got to the D9 chart, Leo would have already been eliminated as a possible ascendant, based on our work with the D4 and D7. In the D9, Leo ends at 16:15, and since we decided on Aries ascendant in the D7, which lasted from 16:18 -16:33, there was no overlap with Leo. We simply bypassed it! Phew! Instead of the headache of analyzing nine ascendants, we only had to investigate two, which is much more manageable and efficient! It paid off to take time to determine that Gemini was the correct ascendant in the D4 and that Aries had to be the correct ascendant in the D7. These efforts quickly paved the way for finding the correct ascendant in the D9, Virgo.

This method saves us time and effort by reducing the number of ascendants to analyze for each divisional chart. We’re far more likely to find the correct birth time when we cross-check it across all six divisional charts.
